1958 Retractable

1958 Ford

This project was started in 1996. After several years, interest was lost.
The car still had the original motor and transmission, but was missing much.
The images show some of what has been done.

   1967 Cougar

1967 cougar

Originally this project started with a different Cougar,
but during dismantling, it was found to have too much cancer to try and save.
This body came out of the desert in Oregon. It took two other "donor cars"
to get the major body parts needed.

   1966 Mustang

1966 Mustang

I was into the local Ford dealership one day
and while in the service department,
I was asked if I was interested in a project.
The fella had found that it was over his head.
I picked it up, and after 5 years I took on the project.

   1969 Mustang Fastback

1969 Mustang

In the mid 90's I was at a storage facility and seen
this wreck parked around back. Apparently it was in the
banks possession as uninsured. I paid $350 for it
thinking of selling parts for a profit.
Missed on that thought.

   1966 Mustang Coupe

1966 Mustang Coupe

This was my first try at painting black.
Three times before it looked right. Rightly
named "Shady Lady" Some day I will find the
rest pictures, telling the whole story.

1947 Ford Coupe

Project start was November of 2018.
The first several images show what we had
to start with. Who said "it's easy"?
With the frame mostly finished, starting body.

Speak Out

Not often, but sometimes someone will push my button. During the 1947 Ford build we purchased repair panels from a company called EMS. One of these parts was the rear tail pan. The stock replacement version. Once it arrived, we set out to install it. It was at this time we found that this piece did not seem to fit. It was a good half inch short. We contacted the seller and at that time was told that there had been other calls with the same concern. I asked why they would send out a product knowing that it would not fit. The answer was that s--t happens. They offered full return, but not the shipping EITHER way. The shipping was $40 each way! So, be warned that this seller may not be acting in your best interests.

I found another provider and was happy with that purchase.
